Making apple beer goes back to ancestral tradition. The Celts drank it in abundance during their harvest festivals. All they have done is extend the pleasure to the present day by adding the juice of several varieties of apples to delicious lambic. The tasting experience, which is quite exceptional, combines the sweetness of cider with the sourness characteristic of lambic. The Americans are crazy about it, which is why they say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Lindemans Brewery continues to brew lambic, and so the ‘mother of all beers' still flows steadily through their beer taps in Vlezenbeek today. For 6 generations, brewery has produced one of the world’s oldest beer styles with the greatest care and immense passion. Soon, they will begin brewing high fermentation beers at a new site in Ruisbroek. These exciting new beer styles, along with a continued focus on traditional lambic varieties, will allow to bring new flavor profiles and experiences to fans all over the world. They look forward to this new chapter of growth and innovation while remaining a family-owned, Belgian lambic brewery. Discover it below.
