The secret of the taste of the legendary bottom-fermented lager with an alcohol content of 4.4% lies primarily in high-quality raw materials and the preservation of the original production process. The characteristic aroma of malt grains and a balanced caramel taste are obtained by triple mashing, the soft pilsner water gives it a unique delicate taste, and the Žatec hops give it a velvety bitterness. The own malt then gives the beer a golden color."
In Pilsen, beer was brewed alternately by individual rightful citizens. The quality was different, which is why the idea of owning a brewery with good beer is born in the minds of the citizens of Pilsen. In the new Měšťanský pivovar, on October 5, 1842, brewer Josef Groll brews the first batch of the new Pilsner beer, which will soon conquer the whole world.
