Ekstra Draft is Svyturys' legendary pale lager that undergoes microfiltration instead of pasteurization before bottling and thus retains the qualities of live beer. The golden brown beer is noted for its thick white foam, well-rounded taste, rich, smooth and long-lasting flavor with a slight hop bitterness. Many surveys have shown that this high quality beer is Lithuania's favorite.
After working with the selected brewing giant from across the Atlantic, The Brooklyn Brewery, they built a modern brewery in Klaipėda: Švyturys Brewery. The map of craft beer culture in Lithuania is expanding: after Nya Carnegiebryggeriet (Sweden) and EC Dahls Bryggeri (Norway) breweries, this is the third investment of The Brooklyn Brewery and Carlsberg Group in Europe. And the first in Lithuania.
