Beer Description: A golden honey ale that has a barbarian logo on its label. During the fermentation process, honey is added to the malted wheat and hops, giving it a sweeter and richer taste. Barbar won the European Beer Star 2010 silver award for the best speciality honey beer.
2020 Launch of the Unplugged range. With Céline and Paul taking over the management of the brewery, the brewery starts a new chapter, in which know-how and experience are used to brew differently, freely and without constraint. That’s how we came up with the idea of ‘Unplugged’. In the same year, a new logistics warehouse and loading docks were built! Renovation of the brewer’s former home, which will house the new offices, is underway.
