A true classic, Spitfire Amber is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, which took place in the skies above Kent soil. It is brewed using 100% Kent hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep at Shepherd Name's Faversham Brewery.
FAVERSHAM BREWERY Faversham Brewery is the home of Shepherd Name, Britain's oldest brewery. Located in the medieval market town of Faversham in Kent, brewing has continued at this location for centuries. Using natural ingredients, such as mineral water from the town's aquifer and local hops, the brewers produce characterful Kent ales and internationally renowned lagers.
