The inspiration for this increasingly popular beer came from the heart of Europe: it is a Belgian-style BLANC wheat beer, very refreshing, carefully balanced with a bit of sweetness and a combination of wheat beer's characteristic acidity, a delicate aroma of citrus fruits and spices. BLANC beer: cloudy with a very light wheat color. Both light beer and WHITE PINT lovers will like it.

Rafailas Volfas founds a brewery. The brewery is located in what was then Vilijampole. After Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union, the brewery was nationalized. Volfas Engelman beer was commissioned on the occasion of the 60th birthday of President Kazys Grinius. "Ragutis" is privatized and reorganized into a joint-stock company.
