The desire to create something new and unique led to a search for special ingredients. The inspiration to create this beer came with rare species of hops from the Australian continent and New Zealand. A beer with a harmonious taste and quite light, fruity golden color, pleasant medium bitterness and an exceptional hop aroma, which is provided by the exceptional hop varieties AUS ELLA, NZ RAKAU, AUS GALAXY. APA is a beer of moderate supply, as it uses rare types of hops, which are produced in limited quantities every year.
Rafailas Volfas establishes a brewery. The brewery is located in what was then Vilijampole. After Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union, the brewery was nationalized. Volfas Engelman beer was ordered for the 60th anniversary of President Kazys Grinius. "Ragutis" is privatized and reorganized into a joint-stock company.
