"Volfas Engelman" inherited from its creators an excellent dark beer with the luxurious name "Imperial Porteris". The harmony of hops and roasted malt gave it a dark mahogany color and a majestic character that you won't find anywhere else. Usually, porter is viscous and heavy. This one is different. Its unique Lithuanian color was formed by an excellent combination of components: "light pilsner", German caramel malt "cara red" and a duo of "Perle" and "Magnum" hops. "Volfas Engelman Imperial Porteris is extremely pleasant and easy to drink.
Rafailas Volfas founds a brewery. The brewery is located in what was then Vilijampole. After Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union, the brewery was nationalized. Volfas Engelman beer was commissioned on the occasion of the 60th birthday of President Kazys Grinius. "Ragutis" is privatized and reorganized into a joint-stock company.
