Pollen of floral origin. Mostly rockrose, with other accompanying species such as blackberry, lavender or poppy. The bees collect the tiny male elements of the flowers, for consumption by the workers. Pollen is a vegetable protein, an excellent source of essential amino acids, B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, minerals and polyphenols. The daily consumption of 50 g of pollen satisfies 50% of the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of all essential vitamins (except pyridoxine and pantothenic acid) and minerals (except calcium). You can consume it as is, adding a spoonful to yogurt, in salad, in smoothies or diluted in juice, water, milk... and of course for cooking. We take advantage of the different blooms to collect different types of pollen and get different properties, different flavor and different color.
