Our full-bodied Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer (6.3% vol.) presents itself majestically in a tankard with its golden color and fine-pored white foam. A blend of alpine herbs and exotic fruits caresses the nose. The palate enjoys a variety of malt, caramel, dried fruit, fig and honey aromas. The flavorful festival beer finishes with a pleasant residual sweetness and a slight grapefruit note. The Munich Oktoberfest is the most famous and largest beer festival in the world. Every year, more than six million visitors celebrate the unique atmosphere and Munich beer. As early as 1810, at the first Oktoberfest on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Ludwig and his wife Therese, a bar of the then "Royal Hofbräuhaus" was set up to celebrate the courtly festivities. To this day, the Hofbräu Oktoberfest beer, a full-bodied bottom-fermented special beer with its delicate hop aroma, is a perfect match for Wiesnhendl beer.
