The dark member of the Švyturys collection which has been brewed since 1965. Awarded multiple times worldwide, the dark red Švyturio Baltijos beer stands outs for its flavour of roasted malt, caramel and brown bread. It has a profound sweetness of malt with a light aftertaste of dried plums and chocolate.
After shouldering shoulders with the selected beer giant from across the Atlantic, The Brooklyn Brewery, they built a modern brewery in Klaipėda - Švyturys Brewery. The map of craft beer culture in Lithuania is expanding: after the Nya Carnegiebryggeriet (Sweden) and EC Dahls Bryggeri (Norway) breweries, this is the third investment of The Brooklyn Brewery and Carlsberg Group in Europe. And the first in Lithuania.
