Full of character - strong Brewed only once a year, on December 6th, in a complex process, this strong beer is a rarity. It can mature in the bottle for many years and gains complexity. Shimmering red-brown, complex aromas of prunes, malt and caramel.
The Salzkammergut beer has been produced in Eggenberg for eight generations with great craftsmanship. This independence allows them to work as they wish and enables them to brew beers with strong character and individuality. They want to surprise and inspire and, above all, they would like to continue doing what they do well for the next few centuries: brewing beer.
