Švyturys Amber (4.6%), a light Pilsner beer of a luminous amber colour is made from Pilzen-grade malt, bitter hops, brewer’s yeast and fresh water. It is appreciated for its refreshing, light taste and mild hops aroma. Brewed in Klaipėda since 1995. Švyturys Amber is an example of a light summertime beer and the leader in this category. The way of the weak Amber to the hearts of Lithuanians was not easy: it would be continuously lightened and perfected to finally match the expectations of both Švyturys’s technologists and the consumers.
After shouldering shoulders with the selected beer giant from across the Atlantic, The Brooklyn Brewery, they built a modern brewery in Klaipėda - Švyturys Brewery. The map of craft beer culture in Lithuania is expanding: after the Nya Carnegiebryggeriet (Sweden) and EC Dahls Bryggeri (Norway) breweries, this is the third investment of The Brooklyn Brewery and Carlsberg Group in Europe. And the first in Lithuania.
