The light wheat bock is stored for an extra long time. This creates a strong beer that has a balanced full-bodied taste and a round character. Brewed with centuries of beer experience on the Weihenstephaner Berg. Taste & Color Aromas of cloves and a hint of banana are clearly perceptible. Full-bodied and sparkling, the finely integrated carbon dioxide creates a sparkling mouthfeel. The Weizenbock Vitus does not taste like a typical strong beer, but more like a noble, fruity wheat beer. The radiant golden color perfectly rounds off the appearance of our Vitus.
As the oldest brewery still in existence in the world, the brewery stands almost majestically in Freising on the Weihenstephaner Berg, surrounded by the comparatively still very young Weihenstephan Science Center of the Technical University of Munich. It is precisely this unique combination of tradition and old-fashionedness, proven knowledge and modern science that gives the brewery an incomparable identity and allows to brew a wide variety of beers of the highest possible quality. From the monastery brewery of the Benedictine monks to the Royal Bavarian State Brewery, to today's modern state brewery: join on a journey to the origins of beer and experience the eventful history of Weihenstephan brewery. Bavaria is known throughout the world for its most important cultural asset - beer. High-tech has also found its way into the brewing industry, but nothing has changed in the actual brewing process. The brewery offers a breathtaking view of Freising's old town. In addition to an eventful history, the city also has some impressive architectural and artistic monuments to offer.
