Since they bought a brewery and 82 pubs in London in 1831, they have been an independent family business. Not just in the strict sense, because someone with the Young surname has always been part of the team, but as one big happy (and ever-growing) family of hospitality. The brewery was a hotbed of industry and eccentricity. Oceans of beer rolled out of its doors in horse-drawn Shire carts and, eventually, trucks when lorries were invented. And pubs have always been authentic. At first they refreshed Londoners, but since 2010 they have expanded steadily. Everything that happened before makes us what we are today.
