Birra Peroni is an Italian lager beer produced by the eponymous company since 1846. Since October 2016 it has been part of the Japanese group Asahi Breweries. It is brewed in the group's establishments located in Rome, Padua and Bari, while the malt comes from the Saplo malting plant in Pomezia
Our founder, Francesco Peroni set up his first brewery in Vigevano, a historic town in northern Italy. He called it Birra Peroni. It still bears his name today.
