Mala Gissona was founded in 2014 by Iban Zabala Rivero and Manuel Murillo Martínez. It currently has a brewery in Irun (Gipuzkoa) that brews and distributes its beers throughout Euskadi and national territory and also exports to countries such as France, United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, Italy, Portugal and Finland. In 2015, the first Mala Gissona Beer House was inaugurated in the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastian, where 12 different varieties of beer on tap, more than 150 references in bottles and a menu of premium food made mostly with local products to accompany the beers are offered.
