Tynt Meadow Trappist ale is a Belgian Dubbel style beer brewed by Mount St. Bernard Abbey, located in Leicestershire, England. This beer was released in 2018, making it the first Trappist beer produced in England and the only one outside Belgium and the Netherlands. Its brewing follows the rules of the International Trappist Association, which ensure that the beer is produced within the walls of a Trappist abbey and under the supervision of Trappist monks.
MoreTynt Meadow Trappist beer is produced by Mount St. Bernard Abbey, located in Leicestershire, England.
Mount St. Bernard Abbey is one of only three Trappist abbeys in the United Kingdom and the only one that produces Trappist beer. Tynt Meadow Trappist beer is brewed by the abbey's monks in the Trappist tradition with a focus on sustainability and quality ingredients. The abbey produces around 150,000 liters of beer per year and its production is limited due to its commitment to follow the rules of the International Trappist Association and produce beer on a modest scale and with artisanal quality. Tynt Meadow Trappist beer is a true gem of English brewing and an example of the Trappist monks' dedication and commitment to brewing quality beer.
