Vedett Extra Pilsner is brewed to quench even the most stubborn thirst. Offering a full-bodied refreshment from start to finish. Don’t be fooled by its unassuming straw colour and pure white head. Behind the unassuming exterior of this premium beer lies a complex yet smooth character. It subtly balances malt and hops with a lingering fruit character and subtle vanilla notes. And a slightly bitter aftertaste that politely suggests: “Another one?”
The Vedett brewery, part of the iconic Belgian Duvel Moortgat family, began as an experiment to appeal to a younger, hipper audience. Founded in 1945, Vedett initially offered a classic pilsner, but reinvented itself in the early 2000s with a more fun and edgy brand identity. Its quirky labels, with fan-submitted photos, and bold flavors set it apart, making it popular with a creative, urban audience. Vedett now offers a variety of beers, from its Extra Blond and Extra White to innovative IPAs. Today, Vedett represents a modern take on traditional Belgian brewing, combining quality craftsmanship with a touch of irreverence.
